Blossom is an Anatolian Shepherd from Turkey. Blossom was involved in a serious accident with a tractor which meant she severely damaged her rear legs. A double amputation was the only option.

After rehabilitation in Turkey, Blossom travelled to foster in Wales. After Blossom's story was promoted on "Martin and Romans Weekend Best" on ITV, her lovely adopter, Mary made contact and the rest is history!

Without an exemption in the Secondary Legislation, rescue dogs like Blossom—whose injuries were the result of accident and misfortune rather than cosmetic mutilation—would be refused entry to the UK. That would deny many dogs the opportunity to find the loving homes they deserve.
